4. Michael Pittman Jr., USC Trojans

If the Browns capitalize on one of the top four offensive lineman with the No. 10 overall selection, they have a bunch of possibilities with their second-round pick, No. 41 overall. While most mock drafts will show the Browns addressing linebacker defensive line or safety, in the second round, look no further than Michael Pittman Jr. to shake up the Browns receiving room.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Pittman Jr. stands at 6-foot-4 and would certainly add some much-needed height to the duo of Beckham and Landry. Pittman’s height jumps right off the page when you watch USC, as the senior can be seen leaping over defenders for jump balls in the end zone and down the sidelines. He also has incredible hands and does not drop the football.

Although he has a large catch radius because of his size, Pittman’s one bad trait is probably his lack of elusiveness and acceleration once he catches the ball. This was a red flag as he entered the NFL Scouting Combine.

Typically, bigger wide receivers are slower in nature as a result of their large frame. Not Pittman.

He recorded a stellar 4.52 second time in the 40-yard dash at the combine. Certainly, this helped boost his stock.

Cleveland has not had a big, strong receiver with contested catch ability in recent memory. With Mayfield thriving with bigger targets to throw to, Pittman should definitely be an option at No. 41 if the Browns elect to wait to draft a defensive player.
