While it’s already been a productive offseason in free agency, the Cleveland Browns still have some huge holes in their roster they’ll look to fill in this 2020 NFL mock draft.

With less than two weeks until the NFL Draft, teams are finalizing their boards and narrowing down the lists of players they want to target. While the Cleveland Browns have already made some nice improvements to their roster this offseason, they still have several holes in their roster to fill if they want to fulfill their aspirations this season.

The Browns added former Falcons tight end Austin Hooper to an already star-studded offensive line-up with wideouts Odell Beckham Jr. and Jarvis Landry, as well as running back Nick Chubb. Having Hooper gives the Browns a reliable tight end, something they’ve lacked over the last several years in the oft-injured David Njoku.

Cleveland also filled a huge hole that former general manager John Dorsey refused to invest in by signing offensive tackle Jack Conklin. The former Tennessee Titan played mostly left tackle in college, but has been an excellent right tackle in the NFL. The offensive line still has a glaring hole at left tackle, however, and could also use depth in other positions as well.

As for the defense, new general manager Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski haven’t left any stone unturned. They signed safeties Andrew Sendejo and Karl Joseph to shore up the defensive backfield, as well as signing veteran linebacker B.J. Goodson to help fill the void left by Joe Schobert‘s departure in free agency.

The list of holes for the Browns is much smaller than it was six weeks ago, but to get to the goals they have set for themselves, they will need to fill a few more holes in the NFL Draft. With that, let’s take a look at who they take in this 2020 NFL mock draft.
