The Cleveland Browns addressed a lot of needs via free agency thus far in the offseason and left themselves in a good position for the NFL draft

There are just three days until the 2020 NFL draft, and teams are dialing in on their prospects. The Cleveland Browns are looking to add talented players to fill the holes in their talented roster that still remain post-free agency.

The Browns addressed right tackle and tight end significantly in free agency by signing Jack Conklin and Austin Hooper respectively. Each was the best available at their positions in free agency.

Cleveland also invested in additions at cornerback with Kevin Johnson, defensive tackle in Andrew Billings, defensive end with veteran Adrian Clayborn, linebacker by adding B.J. Goodson, added two safeties Kevin Sendejo and former first-round pick Karl Joseph, quarterback with Case Keenum, and also added fullback Andy Janovich via trade.

Every signing was a positive for Cleveland, as each came for the right price and at positions of need. Most of the defensive signings are one-year deals which give the Browns flexibility financially and personnel-wise going forward.

The positions of need look a lot cleaner now for the organization as they enter the draft. For what seems like the first time in many years that the Browns can simply add players to compliment an already talented roster rather than completely rebuild.

The Browns enter the draft with direct needs at left tackle, safety, linebacker, right guard, and maybe a third receiver. They will also look to add depth which will likely heavily lean on the defensive side of the ball. This mock follows those needs with extremely talented players and would be an incredible scenario if the Browns could land these players
