ARLINGTON, TX – APRIL 26: NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell announces a pick by the Cleveland Browns during the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft at AT /

The Cleveland Browns need to hit on a few draft picks next week when the 2020 NFL Draft takes place starting on Thursday night.

With the NFL Draft less than one week away, newly appointed GM Andrew Berry and the Cleveland Browns need to be ready for everything and anything. With the draft being held at remote locations, this unique circumstance can help the Browns as Berry and Chief Strategy Officer Paul DePodesta can thrive in being able to handle it.

The Browns have some major areas of need on its roster at the positions of offensive tackle, offensive guard, wide receiver, safety, and linebacker. That doesn’t exclude them from taking other positions as the analytical approach of this front office tends to lean toward taking the best player available at positions deemed to be more important than others.

Now the Browns did do an excellent job in handling free agency as they added a ton of depth to its roster on the defensive side of the ball and it added key starters in Jack Conklin at right tackle and Austin Hooper at tight end.

That frees up the Browns to take whom they deem to be the best player in the draft at No. 10 and it just so happens that it could fill the major void at left tackle for this team. With four top offensive tackles in this draft, the Browns are in the unique position where need and best player available lineup.

With that being said, let’s get started with this seven-round mock draft for the Cleveland Browns.
