LB. Spartans . Joe Bachie. 4. player. 805.

The Browns go back to the Big Ten for the third time in this draft so far as they hopefully draft its MIKE linebacker of the future. Joe Bochie had a very productive career while in East Lansing, finishing with 285 tackles, seven sacks, and five interceptions during his playing career.

Bachie has a lot of similar to traits to outgoing Browns linebacker Joe Schobert who was drafted by Shashi Brown during his tenure as the club’s GM.

Bachie is a sound tackler, team leader, and very smart football player as he should translate well into the NFL. The Browns need more help at linebacker and this analytical front office may deem the position worthy of taking in the middle to later portions of this draft.

Bachie is a northeast Ohio native as he hails from Brook Park. The former Spartan was deemed ineligible for the final five games of the year for a positive PED test. He was still voted honorable mention All-Big Ten.

Running a solid 4.67 40-yard dash time at the Combine, Bachie put himself in position to be drafted in the middle rounds of this draft as the Browns pick up a future starting linebacker with the 115th overall selection.
