The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know including one writer who believes a trade back could be a dream draft scenario

With the draft just one day away, the speculation surrounding the Cleveland Browns and their plans is at an all-time high. Drafting 10th overall, the Browns should be in the market for a top-tier left tackle — which is their biggest need on the roster.

Of course, there’s always the chance that none of their top options are available when they do come on the clock. That’s a scenario Doug Lesmerises of Cleveland.com looks at as he says that they could end up with a dream scenario should this happen.

Cleveland could decide that rather than reaching for their third or fourth option at left tackle, they could decide to trade down and add more picks which could potentially give them another shot at a potential star player at a position of need— such as Michael Pittman from USC.

Trading down and snagging a future star receiver in Cleveland Browns’ perfect NFL Draft 2020 —  Doug Lesmerises, Cleveland.com

"“FIRST ROUND, NO. 10: Traded to San Francisco along with a fifth-round pick in 2021 for pick No. 13 and a second-round pick in 2021Why this makes sense: If the Browns missed on their tackle and didn’t luck into a defensive star falling into their laps, then adding assets with multiple tackles still available is a greater value than taking what may be the No. 3 tackle on their board.”"

This isn’t the flashy move, but it makes a lot of sense. The Browns could still get a starting-caliber left tackle by trading down and find someone else with the extra picks added.

This draft feels like it should be so simple. The Browns roster is close and if they can just add a few key pieces, they could be in the mix for the AFC North.

Redskins OT Trent Williams: 7 reasons the Browns should trade for him — Mary Kay Cabot, Cleveland.com

There are plenty of reasons to add the talented left tackle and Mary Kay Cabot goes through seven of them — including his relationship with new Cleveland offensive line coach Bill Callahan.
