Jacksonville Jaguars. CeeDee Lamb. 9. player. 52. . Wide Receiver

The Jags will be in a bit of re-build mode after the Nick Foles project quickly crashed and burned in 2019.  It is wild to think the Jaguars played in the AFC Championship game just three years ago. It could be tempting for the Jaguars to trade back and collect picks, but I suspect the Jags will look to replace recently cut Marquise Lee and draft a wide receiver a pick no. 9.

Lamb is one of the strongest receivers in the 2020 draft class and is known for his contested and acrobatic catches. While Lamb does not have high-end speed, he always managed to find himself open in the Sooner offense. Teams may be leery of Lamb who has not faced a substantial amount of press coverage as he will see in the NFL. Receivers from the Big 12 like Justin Blackmon and Corey Coleman haven’t always transitioned well to the next level.

It’s tough to tell if the Jags are set on Gardner Minshew as the franchise quarterback, but keep in mind if a quarterback like Tagovailoa would happen to slip, the Jags could have an interest or would look to collect a king’s ransom from the Patriots to move up and draft him. An unlikely scenario, but worth mentioning.

28. . Wide Receiver. Las Vegas Raiders. Jerry Jeudy. 10. player

TRADE: Las Vegas Raiders from Cleveland Browns

Who will the Las Vegas Raiders take with their first-ever pick since the relocation from Oakland? The Raiders have been searching for a wide receiver since the Antonio Brown saga ended with the Raiders releasing Brown before the 2019 season and they will need to trade up to accomplish that in 2020. The wide receiver class for 2020 is deep but after Lamb and Jerry Jeudy from Alabama, there is a significant drop off in talent.

The Raiders will not allow the New York Jets to take Jeudy and will be motivated to swap with the Browns. Jeudy is the most complete receiver in the draft with crisp routes and tremendous hands. While he lacks the size of CeeDee Lamb, he is still a complete receiver who can handle the go to load the Raiders are looking for after failing to replace Brown last season.

Recent news of a knee concern won’t be enough to let Jeudy slide past the Raiders. The injury stems from 2018 and teams are aware.
