Wide Receiver. Denver Broncos. Henry Ruggs III. 15. player. 45.

The Denver Broncos come into the draft hoping that one of the top four tackles will somehow fall to them at No. 15. With that unlikely to happen and not wanting to reach on a tier two tackle, look for the Broncos to help young quarterback Drew Locke in a different way.

The Broncos can add to a dynamic duo of wide receiver Courtland Sutton and tight end Noah Fant with the speedy receiver from Alabama Henry Ruggs III. Some expect Ruggs to come off the board earlier than this, but as the Raiders well know, speed isn’t everything. Ruggs is a great inside fit for the Broncos and will thrive on short crossing routes to help Locke distribute the ball quickly but isn’t meant to be a true number one receiver in the NFL.

Experts believe Ruggs could have the potential to be a bust in 2020 but appears to be the perfect fit for the Broncos and could be sit up for success. With a big framed receiver on the outside in Sutton, Ruggs could thrive across the middle for the Broncos next year.

player. 44. . Defensive End. Atlanta Falcons. K’Lavon Chaisson. 16

While the Atlanta Falcons have loaded up their offense with previous first-round picks, they have yet to address the defense which will come in the draft. Given the importance of pass-rush look for the Falcons to select K’Lavon Chaisson, the defensive end from LSU.

Chaisson may very well be the most dynamic pass-rusher in the draft, even ahead of Chase Young.  He has size, athleticism, and strength to contain the edge while getting after the opposing team’s quarterback. Chaisson is currently a finesse rusher but has the strength to become a better bull-rusher with coaching and additional reps on the field.

Many have projected the Falcons to try and move up Thursday night, but with Chaisson in the mix, I’m not sure why they would want to give up assets for little to no gain. If the Falcons draft strictly on need there is no need to trade up. If Chaisson and C.J. Henderson are both on the board they may have a tough decision.
