The Cleveland Browns filled one need on Thursday night, but they still have a few holes to fill throughout the rest of the draft weekend.

The Cleveland Browns drafted its left tackle of the future on Thursday night as they used the No. 10 overall pick on Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills.

As Browns general manager Andrew Berry was effectively able to fill the rosters biggest need last night, positions such as receiver, safety and linebacker remain a major concern.

The top safety’s are all still available as we enter the second round Friday night, creating the idea of if the Cleveland Browns should wait on drafting one. Xavier McKinney, Jeremy Chinn and Antoine Winfield Jr. all are in play when the Browns come to pick at No. 41.

But the receiver position may dry up sooner than expected, as the run on receivers started well into the first round. Amongst receivers available at No. 41 may be USC’s Michael Pittman Jr., Colorado’s Laviska Shenault Jr. and Clemson’s Tee Higgins.

It may be wise for Cleveland to use their second round selection on one of these receivers and go for a safety and linebacker with its two third round picks.

LSU safety Grant Delpit has been mocked to go into the third round tonight by a few outlets, including Matt Miller of Bleacher Report. Cal’s Ashtyn Davis and Kyle Dugger from Lenoir-Rhyne may get pushed down into the third round as well.

Next. Plenty of talent remains for the Cleveland Browns in Round 2. dark

If Cleveland can walk out of tonight with one of the three receivers mentioned above to go along with Delpit and a linebacker such as Malik Harrison or Logan Wilson in the third round, this draft will be deemed as a major success for Andrew Berry and head coach Kevin Stefanski.
