The Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the Cleveland Browns news you need to know, including a story about what to expect when the schedule is released

The NFL is set to release its schedule on Thursday and Cleveland Browns fans are anxious to see what their slate will look like.

There might be as much excitement from the Dawg Pound as there has ever been, but the rest of the nation might have cooled off on the team.

For that reason, Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan thinks they won’t be playing in as many prime time games. He also says there should be no expectation of seeing the orange and brown on the field in Arlington on Thanksgiving Day, although many fans were hopeful that could happen.

More from Dawg Pound Daily

Ruiter’s take on what to expect when the schedule is finally announced, and many other stories, can be found in today’s Daily Dawg Tags.

What to expect with the release of the 2020 NFL schedule Thursday — Daryl Ruiter, 92.3 The Fan

"“After being scheduled for four prime time appearances in 2019 and finishing 6-10, expect the Browns to see their primetime exposure reduced to two or three games, likely Thursday and Monday night.”"

Last season, hopes were high due to the prevalence of the Browns on prime time. That didn’t exactly work out, so maybe Ruiter’s expectations were a good thing. The mention of no Thanksgiving Day in Dallas should also be no surprise after what transpired last season.

Odell Beckham Jr. foresees one of his best seasons: ‘This is my time’ — Jake Trotter, ESPN

"“I would honestly say this is probably going to be one of my best seasons. Bigger, stronger, faster — this is my time.”"

You have to admire OBJ’s confidence level and the fact is, he has the talent to get it done. And with better coaching this season (it has to be right?) there’s no more excuses.
