The NFL league office will be releasing the 2020 schedule Thursday night at 8 pm. We answer the question on the minds of every Cleveland Browns fan. What will the schedule look like?

T’was the night before the schedule release and all through the pound every Browns fan was anxious to see when the Ravens were coming to town. The roster is stacked, and every piece is in place, in hopes that the Cleveland Browns will be part of the Superbowl chase.

Okay, okay, tomorrow is not Christmas. But anytime the NFL announces anything or gives the fans something to look forward to, it sure feels like it is a holiday. With that being said, Thursday night at 8 pm the league office will announce the official 2020 NFL schedule.

As with anything the NFL does, they are going to make a production out of it. This year, with everything going on in the world, it is a very welcome distraction. But let’s be honest, even if the world was not in cloaked in uncertainty, the NFL schedule release would still be a huge deal.

As soon as the schedule is made official, the games can begin. Prognosticators will start playing the schedule game and placing W’s and L’s next to every matchup. The talk of who has the easiest path to the postseason will start along with who got the short end of the stick. For the next two weeks, every sports outlet will be riddled with it. It will be glorious.

Fans will start circling dates on the calendar, figuring out which games they want to purchase tickets to see their teams play live. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is unknown at this time whether or not fans will be allowed to be in attendance for the games. Although, due to the rabid nature of NFL fans, it probably will not affect ticket sales initially. But the NFL has to put plans in place, in the event that large gatherings of that scale are still not permitted.

But for every team, and in this particular case, the Browns, the schedule will be dissected. How many primetime games are there? Are there any easy stretches? Is the bye week coming at the right time? Are there potential trap games? Well, in the spirit of prognostication, let us take a crack at what the 2020 NFL schedule will look like for the Cleveland Browns.
