Week 12 at Jacksonville Jaguars

David Caldwell is in full tank mode and the rest of the NFL will benefit from it.

Trading Nick Foles was understandable for the organization as he was signed to a hefty deal but couldn’t keep Gardner Minshew on the bench. Outside of that trade, the Jaguars made a lot of questionable decisions for their future. Sending A.J. Bouye to the Broncos, ruining the relationship with Calais Campbell that forced a trade to the Ravens, and signing an injury-prone Tyler Eifert doesn’t really help them moving forward.

The Jaguars just don’t have the talent to match their underrated coaching staff.

Minshew isn’t the long-term answer at quarterback and fans are quietly hoping to tank for Trevor Lawrence. Myles Garrett will get very acquainted with Minshew on the field. Leonard Fournette is on the trade block and may not even be on the team for this matchup which probably will leave Chris Thompson carrying the load. Neither is a significant threat in the run game.

On the defensive side, there isn’t a position to fear. The Jaguars defense ranked 28th in rushing defense last season giving up 139 yards per game. Adding former Brown Joe Schobert isn’t going to clean that up as he wasn’t great at stopping the run either. Nick Chubb should feast as the Browns should have an overall offensive explosion.
