In the latest buzz around the league, a source has Cleveland Browns star DE Myles Garrett heading to Seattle. Yes, you read that correctly.

One of the leagues best defensive ends in Myles Garrett is now swirling around trade rumors as reportedly getting traded to Seattle.

If that doesn’t sound crazy enough to you, I don’t know what does.

First of all, Garrett is the future and the anchor for the Cleveland Browns on defense. Even after missing the last six games of the season last year, Garrett finished with 10 sacks.

In his rookie year, Garrett had seven sacks and in 2018 finished with 13.5. The report on these trade rumors also stated “the Browns relationship with Garrett after the incident against the Steelers has not been good as they have not been happy with him.” Really?

According to Ian Rapoport, new Browns GM Andrew Berry said that he hopes Garrett remains with the Browns long term as they see him a huge piece in the Browns long term success, supposedly making him the first $25 million dollar DE.

Need more reasoning that these Garrett rumors are absurd? Even Seattle insiders are calling for Seahawks nation to “get a grip” and be realistic about the situation.

No, the Browns are not trading Garrett. Garrett is clearly a centerpiece on this Browns roster and will be for years to come.

Everyone jumped the gun on the recent incident that involved Garrett and the Steelers. Does one mistake that we have seen happen in the league before define a player and a human? No.

Garrett loves Cleveland, and Cleveland loves him. Just like the Odell Beckham Jr trade rumors, let us all stop with these nonsense rumors and start focusing on more important things.

Next. Free agents Browns can still sign. dark

Again, Garrett is a long term piece for this Browns defense, and he is not going anywhere for what is believed to be a long time.
