The Cleveland Browns have a lot of big-name talent on their team but don’t be surprised if one of these three players wind up being a breakout star for them

For the third season in a row, the Cleveland Browns have added a lot of talent and gotten their fans hyped. After their disastrous 0-16 campaign in 2017, Cleveland started to see their roster overhauled.

General manager John Dorsey got to work as he dumped players from the previous regime and started to get his own guys. He added wide receiver Jarvis Landry in a trade with the Miami Dolphins during the offseason and then found some cornerstones in the draft.

In Round 1, Dorsey added Baker Mayfield and Denzel Ward. Later on, it was Nick Chubb, the Georgia running back who they landed in Round 2. That team went 7-8-1 despite firing a coach midseason.

Dorsey then added more stars like Odell Beckham, Jr., Olivier Vernon, and Sheldon Richardson all came on board in 2019. There was also Kareem Hunt, who was suspended to start the season but could help down the stretch.

Considering their strong finish from the prior season, as well as their moves, 2019 was supposed to be great. Sadly, it wasn’t and we now are again looking at a new general manager in Andrew Berry and head coach in Kevin Stefanski.

Again, they have the star power to work with but we all saw in 2019 that star power on its own isn’t enough. If Cleveland is going to experience their first winning season in the NFL since 2007, they’re going to need some of their role players to step up and become huge contributors.

With that being said, we now dive into the roster and identify three players who could become breakout stars in 2020 for the Browns.
