Dan Parzych of NFL Spin Zone recently wrote that Dallas Cowboys right guard Zack Martin is the perfect player for the Cleveland Browns to make a play for

There haven’t been many teams in the NFL as active as the Cleveland Browns have been this offseason. First-year general manager Andrew Berry has been hard at work adding talent such as Jack Conklin, Austin Hooper, and Jedrick Wills — just to name a few of the additions.

He’s made plenty of moves in free agency and also was smart in the draft, like when he dropped down in Round 2 to add another pick but still landed Grant Delpit. But could he still look to add more talent?

If he did want to try and make some moves, Dan Parzych of NFL Spin Zone thinks the Dallas Cowboys could have some players who could help in Cleveland. One trade target, which he admits is a long shot, is Pro Bowl right guard Zack Martin.

More from Browns News

"“Long shot or not, there’s no denying that Cleveland would love the addition of someone like Martin to provide yet another reliable protector for Baker Mayfield to rely on to help the young quarterback bounce back in 2020.” — Parzych, NFL Spin Zone"

So why would the Cowboys even consider such a move? According to Parzych, the only thing that could convince them to move on from Martin could be his contract.

Right now, Dallas is negotiating with quarterback Dak Prescott and they just signed Amari Cooper to a massive contract. They’ve also given big deals to Ezekiel Elliott, Jaylon Smith, and DeMarcus Lawrence.

Martin is another player the Cowboys locked up long-term, signing him to a six-year $84 million deal in 2018. Chances are Dallas won’t be interested in trading him away but that won’t stop anyone from dreaming — and Martin would be a dream addition.

The other players who Parzych identified were Sean Lee and Michael Gallup. They too seem unlikely to be on the move but it’s easy to see why they would also be dream fits with the Browns.
