5 Bold predictions for the Cleveland Browns seven-man 2020 NFL Draft Class

General manager Andrew Berry earned rave reviews for his body of work this offseason as the Cleveland Browns rookie GM managed to fill a multitude of holes in free agency, which set him up nicely for the 2020 NFL Draft.

Berry then did incredibly well in the draft, landing players who not only can help in the future of the team but also right now. They found themselves starters in the first two rounds as they landed Alabama offensive tackle Jedrick Wills and LSU safety Grant Delpit — Berry even added more draft capital as he dropped down in the second and still landed Delpit.

They continued to show a preference for SEC players as they took Missouri defensive tackle Jordan Elliott at No. 88 in the third round and Jacob Phillips from LSU at No. 97 — their second pick in the third round.

From there, Berry mixed it up as he took Florida Atlantic tight end, Harrison Bryant, in the fourth round followed by Washington center Nick Harris in the fifth. The draft ended with an interesting pick as Donovan Peoples-Jones, the wideout from Michigan, was somehow still available in the sixth round at pick No. 187 overall.

As exciting as this rookie class is, we have to wait until the season begins to see how they all perform in the pros. That doesn’t mean we have to wait to start making some bold predictions about what this class could end up doing for the Browns.

With that said, here are five bold predictions about Andrew Berry’s first draft class.
