If the Cleveland Browns were able to land any star players via trade, these three would be ideal fits

It’s been a lot of fun over the past few seasons watching as the Cleveland Browns have aggressively rebuilt their roster. While fans are still waiting for that elusive winning season which hasn’t been seen since 2007, they can at least honestly look at their roster and say they can compete with any team in the NFL.

Thanks to former general manager John Dorsey, they finally have their quarterback in Baker Mayfield. The No. 1 overall pick in 2018 set the NFL record for the most touchdown passes by a rookie and while he struggled in 2019, that seemed to be due to the coaching issues and poor offensive line play more than Mayfield himself.

Dorsey also brought in wide receivers Odell Beckham, Jr. and Jarvis Landry as well as running back Nick Chubb, and defensive tackle Sheldon Richardson. That’s not their only star power either as Dorsey’s successor, Andrew Berry, continued to bring in talented players this year.

Berry signed tight end Austin Hooper, right tackle Jack Conklin, and safety Karl Joseph in the offseason. There could be even more stars as he drafted Jedrick Wills and Grant Delpit with their top two picks in the 2020 NFL Draft.

With all that being said, the Browns roster still has a few spots on it where an upgrade would be welcome. Here, we will look at three players who would be a dream fit for the Browns, if they could somehow convince their current employers to make a deal.
