There are at least 12 Cleveland Browns QBs who have Super Bowl rings

Believe it or not, over the years there have been at least a dozen Cleveland Browns quarterbacks — including one current Brown — who have won Super Bowl rings. Some quarterbacks earned their rings prior to joining the Browns and others need up earning their rings after they left.

Of course, the entire exercise feels kind of bogus because the Browns have never been to the Super Bowl themselves, as a team. This article should be about all the interesting quarterbacks who played in the Super Bowl for the Brown and Orange, but it is just not our current reality.

Since returning to the NFL in 1999, the Browns franchise has been struggling to find an identity. For that reason, sustained success has been non-existent, which made a Super Bowl not even a remote possibility for the past two decades.

As a fan, nothing would ever replace the excitement and adrenaline of a Browns team in the  Super Bowl. But you also get attached to the players as individuals, and if they get to be part of the world’s greatest sporting event and help a team to win, for many of us it is good to know that good things occasionally do happen to the people we follow in the sporting world.

First up is Bryan Hoyer, a hometown hero. He was listed among the collateral damage when Johnny Manziel cratered, but he was among the best quarterbacks the Browns have had in this century.
