Which Cleveland Browns players aren’t getting enough love?

We have seen our fair share of Cleveland Browns players being praised ahead of the 2020 NFL season, and with good reason. Cleveland has amassed an awful lot of talent over the past couple of seasons, giving them their best roster — at least on paper — since their return to the NFL in 1999.

Currently, they have stars all over each side of the ball led by Baker Mayfield, Odel Beckham, Jr., and Nick Chubb on offense as well as Myles Garrett, Sheldon Richardson, and Olivier Vernon on defense. And this season, they made sure there wasn’t just star power on the team.

Last year, the same big-names were there as former general manager John Dorsey collected a lot of talent. He added Pro Bowl players in free agency, through trades, and in the draft. The problem was, he didn’t round the roster out completely.

Dorsey trades away too many depth pieces and left his team thin on the line of scrimmage — both offensively and defensively. This was proven once injuries ravaged the D-line and they were unable to turn to anyone on the O-line when their starters were struggling.

New general manager Andrew Berry and first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski are doing their best to try and alleviate that issue. Berry was aggressive in free agency and made sure to build up the lines, while also finding some more skill-position talent in free agency — highlighted by tight end Austin Hooper.

Such moves have fans excited but there are a few players being overlooked. Here we will dive into the top-5 most under-hyper Cleveland Browns in 2020.
