Buffalo Bills Trade

Out of all the trades on this list, this is the one I would be the most tempted to take. In this trade, the Browns send David Njoku to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for linebacker Matt Milano. Milano is one of the best coverage linebackers in the NFL and is in the last year of his contract.

The Bills defense is stacked, and they have a pretty young linebacker core. Letting Matt Milano go to acquire another building block around Josh Allen might be in their best interest. I’m skeptical of whether or not the Bills would actually accept a straight swap of these two players, but I put it on here regardless.

Milano would be the perfect linebacker to fit the Browns’ new 4-2-5 defense. Matt Milano is a very similar player to Joe Schobert in that they both are good in coverage but have some tackling issues. Milano will probably ask for a cheaper contract next offseason and would be a good investment into the Browns defense, considering they have the worst linebacker core in the NFL right now.

Buffalo should also be one of Njoku’s preferred destinations, as he would receive likely the most amount of targets in Buffalo. Besides Stefon Diggs, their receiving core is pretty lackluster. Josh Allen could really use the 2nd weapon, and if Njoku wants to put up stats, Buffalo is probably the place to be.
