No 1. Myles Garrett (93 overall)

Myles Garrett comes in as the No. 1 ranked player for the Browns this season, with an overall rating of 93. Just how good is Garrett?

In 2018, Garrett had 13.5 sacks. Last season, even with missing the last 6 games, still managed to have 10 sacks. Garrett was in the early conversation for player of the year before the incident went down with Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph.

I believe Garrett is rated so high for a few reasons. He’s clearly one of, if not the top defensive end in the entire game. Having such a dominant first step and beating defenders left and right, making them look silly half of the time.

Another reason for this high rating is Garrett is still so young. Garrett was just extended, making him a new contract so he is now off of his rookie deal. He still has tons of room to grow and get better, something that is crazy to think about when you think about how good he already is now.

Garrett is a very solid all-around player, one that the Browns look forward to keeping on their roster for a very long time.

Being the first guy to get a second contract from the Browns since Joe Haden, there is a lot of weight on his shoulders to live up not only his contract worth, but also his expectations and his promise to never do something on the field again like he did last season.
