5 Cleveland Browns who are underrated in Madden 21
By Clay Goodwin
1. Jack Conklin, Offensive Tackle
Newly acquired offensive tackle Jack Conklin sits atop this list for the Browns player who is the most underrated in Madden 21. He is rated as a 78 overall in the game. This rating is disrespectful to the kind of talent Conklin is and the production he has had in the NFL.
Conklin was the most sought after tackle in this year’s free agency class. He was one of, if not the highest target on the Browns free agent list to acquire this year. Conklin has started every game for the Tennessee Titans the last four years. He earned All-Pro honors during his rookie campaign. Last season, he was a huge reason why running back Derrick Henry led the league in rushing.
It is hard to believe a player who was nominated All Pro his rookie year, helped his running back lead the league in rushing, and is still only 25-years-old is rated only 78 overall. His run blocking is rated 79 and his pass blocking is an 81. He is one of the best zone run-blocking tackles in the entire league, yet his run blocking is only listed at 79. His ratings seem absolutely far too low for the quality of player Conklin is.
Conklin should be somewhere in the ball park of 82-85 overall, but for some reason is 78. Look for a huge year for the Browns offense to lift his overall much higher than his preseason ranking.
