Daily Dawg Tags bring you all the news you need to know

There was a lot of news going on for the Cleveland Browns on Thursday. From head coach Kevin Stefanski meeting with the media to punter Jamie Gillan being placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list, there was plenty to pay attention to.

However, there was also another interesting nugget as Baker Mayfield turned some heads with an interesting post on Instagram.

Mayfield, who has done plenty of good as of late might have ruffled some feathers by posting an image of Dr. Stella Immanuel, who has been pushing some conspiracy theories.

"“Cleveland Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield posted an image on Instagram of Dr. Stella Immanuel, suggesting she’s being censored.Immanuel has had videos circulated on the internet that were posted on the website Breitbart and mentioned by President Donald Trump. She has pushed the idea that hydroxychloroquine is if not the cure, part of the cure for COVID-19. That is something that has largely been debunked.”"

The NFL is giving teams strict guidelines to follow as they navigate these unknown waters. The Browns are doing all they can to make sure they stay in compliance and keep their players and staff safe.

The Browns placed punter Jamie Gillan on the reserve/COVID-19 list, making him the third player they’ve had to put on the list. Gillan joins Dontrelle Hilliard and Jovante Moffatt — who were placed on the list earlier this week.
