No. 1: Have 1,250 rushing yards

For the first goal for Chubb in 2020, it’d be great for him to have 1,250 rushing yards. Chubb again had 1,494 rushing yards in 2019, which was about as good as it gets.

Next season, with Kareem Hunt much more in the fold, though, Chubb could feasibly see a bit of a decline in rushing attempts. Hunt was the league’s leading rusher in 2017 as a rookie, and him available, if healthy, for a full season would seemingly play into Chubb’s attempts dipping to an extent.

In any case, Chubb putting 1,250 rushing yards in 2020 for the Cleveland Browns would still be really impressive. That would still indicate he’s such a great back overall and is putting his power, speed and make-defenders-miss combo to use, too, and would show he’s getting it done week-in and week-out, with some less touches. That’d be again with Hunt more regularly involved, and the two could make quite the pairing, as DPD’s Randy Gurzi alluded to.

Make no mistake, Chubb rushes will be the bread and butter for Cleveland’s offense, at least to a large degree, in 2020. Along those lines, him having 1,250 yards rushing would show he’s still really productive and setting up Mayfield and Cleveland’s receiving corps well in play-action and/or for intermediate/deep shots.

The second goal for Chubb in 2020 has to do with his paydirt trips for the Brown and Orange.
