2. Lamar Jackson – Baltimore Ravens

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson would have made this list no matter what, but the Browns having to face him twice a year makes it even worse. Jackson’s game is so frustrating because it is so predictable, yet impossible to stop. In the last 20 years, I’m not sure there has been a player that is always the fastest and most athletic player on the field as Jackson is.

In college, his crazy runs and crazy passing statistics were chalked up to the poor competition. Now that he has begun his NFL career as a 19-3 starter which includes being the NFL’s most valuable player in 2019, it’s safe to say his game translated well to the NFL.

After a disappointing end to the 2019 season, look for Jackson and the Ravens to be hungrier than ever for a trip to the Super Bowl. The team has accumulated a boatload of talent with Jackson still on his rookie contract, and there is zero doubt they are all in on winning now.

The Browns were able to steal a win on the road last season in Baltimore, which had fans thinking Mayfield had finally figured it out. Unfortunately, the offensive explosion was a fluke for the Browns, but the 40-25 beat down that was worse than the score indicates will not be forgotten.

The Browns face the Ravens in week one which could be a benefit if their group is not clicking on all cylinders yet and then once again on Monday night in mid-December. Splitting these matchups with the Ravens is imperative to the Browns playoff hopes but stealing a win in Baltimore week one would have Browns fans going wild with excitement.
