Cleveland Browns stars Jarvis Landry and Myles Garrett are out Monday
With the new season and the new training camp officially being underway for teams across the league, one of the biggest worries every team has is keeping everyone healthy. For the Cleveland Browns, they only have a few injuries so far.
For precautionary reasons, Jarvis Landry and Myles Garrett are sitting out the first padded practice of the season, taking place today.
According to Nathan Zegura, it has been raining all day at camp, which could be a key factor in having both of them sit out the first day of pads. Full coverage of training camp is on Browns Live.
For Garrett, he tweaked his hamstring a few days ago, so there is no reason for the Browns to send him out there and make things any worse as the season is still about a month away. Per Mary Kay Cabot, Garrett is expected to be back in training camp action here soon.
As for Landry, he is off with the trainers on the first day of pads getting some treatment. Landry is coming off of hip surgery in the offseason, and is still expected to make a full recovery and be ready to go for the season and is expected to go full force.
For now, Landry remains on the sideline and the Browns should continue to be extra careful with these players so they can hit the ground running come week one.
