Round 4, Pick 112: Jaret Patterson, RB, Buffalo

The Browns have perhaps the most talented backfield in the entire NFL in Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt. However, to start day-three of this 2021 NFL Draft, the Browns look to add another young ball carrier in the talented Buffalo running back Jaret Patterson.

While the MAC canceled their 2020 season and Patterson has yet to make a decision about his future, he already has the resume to be a highly sought after back come next April. With Hunt on the last year of his deal, Chubb nearing that point, and knowing the analytical approach of this new front office, they may look to add another young gun on a rookie contract rather than pay one of Chubb or Hunt big money.

Despite having just two seasons under his belt, Patterson has already racked up a whopping 2,777 yards rushing and 20 touchdowns on the ground. He is coming off his a year where he torched defense after defense for 1,800 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground; he is only a true junior as well, so he still has plenty of juice left in his legs as well.

Look for the Browns to take a running back this upcoming April, and if he is on the board to start day-three, he could find his way to Cleveland.
