Round 4, Pick 119: Levi Onwuzurike, DT, Washington

Remember when I said the Browns have a severe lack of depth along their defensive front? Here in the fifth round, the Browns double dip in order to make sure to pad their weakest link on the roster in the form of the athletic defensive tackle Levi Onwuzurike out of Washington.

Even if the Browns do not re-sign Ogunjobi and choose to move on from Richardson after the 2020 season, the selection of Onwuzurike would leave them with a four-man rotation of Billings, Elliot, the earlier added Tufele to pair him with. This is without considering free agency and the trade market heading into the offseason as well.

Known for his freak athleticism, Onwuzurike fits the analytical mold the Browns usually trend towards in the draft. At 6-foot-3 and 288 pounds, Onwuzurike has racked up a career total of seven sacks and 16 tackles behind the line of scrimmage for the Huskies. He has been added to the Senior Bowl watchlist and will hopefully have an opportunity to improve his stock after the PAC-12 canceled their 2020 season.

Here the Browns land their high-ceiling defensive tackle in the form of Onwuzurike.
