Cleveland Browns 7-round 2021 NFL Mock Draft as training camp is well underway

Round 5, Pick 137: Jaycee Horn, CB, South Carolina
A common theme of mock draft simulators in the early part of the process is extremely talented players getting pushed down the board. Here is another example as South Carolina cornerback Jaycee Horn lands in Cleveland in the fifth round of this 2021 NFL Mock Draft.
Do not sleep. While he lands in the fifth round of this simulation, Horn is one of the most talented cornerbacks in the 2021 class and may end up being a first-round pick by the time the 2021 NFL Draft actually rolls around. The son of former Saints’ wide receiver Joe Horn, Jaycee has been around football his whole life, and it shows. He was born for the NFL.
The Browns find themselves in a peculiar spot cornerback wise. Ward looks like an absolute stud, especially after returning from his injury the back half of the 2019 season. However, opposite him continues to be something worth monitoring. A year ago Greedy Williams, second-round pick of the Browns, did not necessarily live up to the hype, and now he has suffered a shoulder injury in training camp which could set back his development even further.
Should Williams fail to develop this season, the Browns will be in a position to look for another cornerback early in the 2021 Draft. While they land him in the fifth round here, he could easily be a target early for the Browns should they opt to get Ward a new running mate.
