The Cleveland Browns should take advantage of the Jaguars fire sale

The Jacksonville Jaguars are currently bleeding their roster dry as they seem to be all in on the Tank for Trevor Lawrence campaign this season. The Cleveland Browns have a few holes still on their roster, so what would it hurt to get the Jaguars on the phone and see the asking price of the few talented players still currently on their roster.

In just less than a year, the Jaguars have bled their roster dry in exchange for a variety of draft picks. Just two years removed from their appearance in the AFC Championship game, Jacksonville looks like a team who will have to scratch and claw for just one or two wins this upcoming season.

Jalen Ramsey, Calais Campbell, and A.J. Bouye were all traded prior to this past week, and then this week they finally traded disgruntled edge rusher Yannick Ngakoue to the Minnesota Vikings. Then just this morning they waived their former fourth overall pick Leonard Fournette after failing to find a trade partner.

Cleveland fans are far too familiar with this strategy as their own staff recently underwent their own “down to the studs” renovation. It hurts at the moment, but the end goal can be worth it if done properly. And now that the Browns are on the other side of that tear down, they could look to the team blowing things up for some help as they round out their own roster.

With the season just two weeks away, who are three remaining Jaguars who could be of interest to the Browns to improve their roster?
