The most important matchups as Cleveland Browns face Baltimore

We’ve almost made it. After the craziest offseason in memory, the NFL season is about to finally kick-off. This Sunday, at one in the afternoon in Baltimore, Maryland, the Cleveland Browns will finally start their season and take on the Baltimore Ravens.

A game jampacked with top tier NFL talent, two of the most exciting teams in the AFC will compete to see who will start the season as the favorites to win the AFC North. It is likely that the winner of this game will be the team who wins the AFC North. That’s a presumptuous take, considering we haven’t seen either of these play in 2020. However, when you take a look at all four rosters and the schedules of those competing in the AFC North, its highly likely that it will be correct.

With so much value riding on a Week 1 matchup, the Browns are sadly behind the eightball here. They’re going up against the reigning NFL MVP in Lamar Jackson and a Baltimore Ravens squad that went 14-2 and didn’t lose many important pieces to their squad besides future Hall of Famer Marshal Yanda.

If the Browns are going to win this game, they’re going to have to win some of the key matchups entering this game. In this article, we will dive into what those key matchups are, and if the Browns really have a chance to win them. If the Browns don’t end up winning a majority of these matchups, then they’re going to have an extremely tough time coming out on top on Sunday. With that being said, let’s dive into some of the key matchups for this week’s game.
