These 5 Cleveland Browns fared well in Week 1

The Cleveland Browns have yet again started out their season 0-1, after being steamrolled by the Baltimore Ravens in Week 1. However, these five players played pretty well during the frustrating game.

Getting blown out in the season opener for the second straight season, many Cleveland Browns fans are already pretty pessimistic about this year and how it will unfold. Looking for some good news that will brighten your day? Some of the Browns players actually had pretty good games in the loss.

Yes, starting quarterback, Baker Mayfield looked more like 2019 Baker than rookie year Baker. Yes, Odell Beckham, Jr. was very insufficient on his 10 targets. Those were the most glaring performances that stuck out to most fans, along with the poor performance by the defense. However, some Browns players had some pretty good performances, and some of them were quite surprising.

There’s some hope to be found in the tape of this past game for Browns fans. In this article, we will dive right into that hope and show you what went well, and hopefully give you some excitement for the Cleveland Browns Week 2 matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, who are nothing like the Baltimore Ravens, who were led by reigning league MVP Lamar Jackson.
