OTs Jedrick Wills and Jack Conklin

There is no bigger credit that must be given to general manager Andrew Berry than his ability to turn around the play of this offensive line in one offseason. After the failures of Greg Robinson and Chris Hubbard at the tackle positions a year ago, the Browns significantly upgraded those two with free agent Jack Conklin and first-round pick Jedrick Wills.

Through the first two weeks of the season, Wills looks every bit worth his hype and the price of the tenth overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. While Conklin missed last week, a game where Hubbard stepped in and played quite well against the Bengals, he looked good in his first game in the brown and orange and will look to protect Mayfield on Sunday.

Again, Washington is going to bring the heat, predominantly off the edge, so the work for Wills and Conklin will not be cut out for them. As not only Wills and Conklin are playing well, but the whole unit with Joel Bitonio, J.C. Tretter, and the surprise in Wyatt Teller are playing at a high level. Can they keep it up this Sunday as Washington presents a daunting test at First Energy Stadium?
