1. Trevon Diggs, CB

This is another rookie who becomes more important because of the injury to another player, Trevon Diggs will be called upon to fill the void left when Chidobe Awuzie got hurt.

Diggs was a second-round pick out of the football factory Alabama. He is talented but he was thrown into the fire last week against Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks.

They put Diggs to work and he made a couple of good plays but he was abused for the most part. It won’t get any easier for him this week as he goes up against Jarvis Landry and Odell Beckham Jr.

Cleveland has become much more of a run-based offense and the wideouts don’t have big games that often, but with guys this talented it is bound to happen and this could be the game.

Dallas’ secondary isn’t good in general its not just Diggs. Without Awuzie, Daryl Worley fills in and he is nowhere near the level of Beckham and Landry. Every season Beckham has a huge game and puts his full talent on display. Last year it was the Monday Night game against the New York Jets, this year it will be this game.

Diggs has talent but he doesn’t have the experience to keep up with a receiver like Beckham. The young cornerback is also listed on the injury report with a shoulder and knee injury but was a full participant in practice so he will likely play on Sunday.

This game could turn into a shootout if Diggs’ and this Dallas secondary can’t keep up with the Browns receivers. Be on the lookout for an outbreak from the Cleveland passing game.
