5 reasons Cleveland Browns gig is better than Cowboys
The Cleveland Browns gig is better than in Dallas
This article is for everyone, but especially for agents of players who are weighing offers from the Cleveland Browns and the Dallas Cowboys. Different players are going to have different fits within the respective organizations, but in most cases, it is going to be better for the player and the agent to choose the Cleveland Browns rather than the Dallas Cowboys, even though the Cowboys have the natural advantages of a winning track record, sort of.
Since the new Browns started up in 1999, they are 0-1 in the playoffs. The Dallas Cowboys, on the other hand, have won three playoff games while dropping eight. So 3-8 beats 0-1, no question, and the Cowboys have had five NFC East Championships and several winning seasons. Dallas is also a fantastic city known for musical entertainment and fashion, especially with a western flair.
Cleveland is more known for Rock ‘n Roll, and young players are going to have the same exciting social life in the Flats in Cleveland that they would in Dallas, except that the bars are not quite large enough to host their own indoor rodeos like Billy Bob’s. But the young women are just as nice and every bit as good looking, and the entertainment is just as awesome.
You can find great country western in Cleveland if you want, just as you can find rock ‘n roll or heavy metal in Dallas. Cleveland is known for corned beef sandwiches and Dallas is known for western barbecue, but you can find what you want in both places. Anything you want, you name it, that is the advantage of playing in the NFL.
In the offseason, you will have an awesome time at Blossom Music Center, University Circle, the Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame, the Pro Football Hall of Fame (you do want to go there, right?).
Truthfully, all NFL cities are great cities. You will be fine. It doesn’t matter what part of the country you are from, you are going to connect with people because you are a member of a unique organization, namely the NFL.
The Cowboys like to pretend that they are the country’s only football team, America’s team, but let’s get real here, shall we?
Let’s talk about what separates the Browns from the Cowboys, and let’s start with the most important thing first. Dollars and cents.
