Can the Cleveland Browns knock off the Cowboys?

Week 4 of the 2020 NFL Season is upon us and the Cleveland Browns are hitting the road for the second time this season. Following an opening weekend loss to the Baltimore Ravens, they ended up hosting the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team in Week 2 and 3.

Each of those games went down as wins and Cleveland is now ready for a matchup with the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. The Browns are sitting pretty at 2-1 and the Cowboys are looking to get things on track as they enter this one with a 1-2 mark.

For Cleveland, they’ve had a fantastic start as they are above .500 for the first time since December of 2014. While that’s impressive, it doesn’t mean much if it’s short-lived — and this team doesn’t want a winning record in October, they want a winning record when the season ends.

We have a long way to go for that, however, and all they can do is take care of the team in front of them. And this week, it happens to be the Cowboys, who are much better than their record indicates. Dallas suffered two close losses as they were knocked off in Week 1 by the Los Angeles Rams 20-17 and then in Week 3, they were defeated by the Seattle Seahawks 38-31.

That’s a combined 10 points to two playoff-contending teams, so while some might argue the Cowboys are nearly 0-3, they’re also nearly 3-0. All that is being said to point out that the Browns cannot take this team lightly. If they do, things could get ugly. But if they play to their strengths, this is a game they could compete in.

And with all that being said, our crew at DPD dives in to predict whether or not the Browns can win this game and move on to 3-1 on the season.
