Bold predictions as the Cleveland Browns host the Colts in Week 5

The Cleveland Browns went to Arlington, Texas, and got their third win in a row in a game that was full of ups and downs. The game started with the Cowboys taking a 14-7 lead and it felt like things could get away from the Browns quickly. Then Dallas turned the ball over on back-to-back plays and the Browns turned it into 14 quick points.

With under five minutes left in the third quarter, the Browns took a commanding 41-14 lead after a 44-yard field goal. Then with just over two minutes remaining the Browns found themselves with only a three-point lead and no momentum.

While it felt like the “same old Browns” for a few moments, first-year head coach Kevin Stefanski proved once again that he is different than past coaches in Cleveland. The offense buckled up their chin straps and scored a touchdown when the team needed it most.

The Cleveland organization hasn’t been 3-1 since the 2001 season, and while the team has turned the page to the Indianapolis Colts, fans will drink their coffee with a little bit bigger smile on Tuesday morning. Heading into the stretch of Dallas, Indianapolis, and the Pittsburgh Steelers many fans said one of three would be great. Well…Check!

The training room will be busy once again as injuries continue to be a concern for the Browns.  Olivier Vernon returned full time while Mack Wilson and Jacob Phillips both saw a small number of snaps, but there was still no sign of Greedy Williams. Add Nick Chubb and Larry Ogunjobi to the list as well, as the Browns and the NFL continue to fight injuries.

While still enjoying a victory, let’s turn the page ourselves and look at five bold predictions for the Browns this week as they look to move to 4-1.
