Completion Percentage

When looking at this statistic, the most impressive player is Joe Burrow. The rookie has thrown 177 passes this season, compared to Baker’s 115, Big Ben’s 109, and Lamar’s 98. Burrow is attempting a significantly larger amount of passes than the rest of the division and is actually 2nd in the NFL in passing attempts.

"Lamar Jackson (68.4%) Ben Roethlisberger (67%) Joe Burrow (65.5%) Baker Mayfield (62.6%)"

Despite this large workload, he still is completing 65.5 percent of his passes, which is a very respectable number in the NFL.

Baker’s 62.6 percent is a good number for a starting quarterback, and his accuracy on throws is a large reason why the Browns are doing as well as they are. His ability to make downfield throws makes defenses have to respect him, preventing teams from just stacking the box, which is in part responsible for the Browns insane rushing attack this season.

If the Browns want to claim the division title this season, Baker is going to have to improve more than he already has. With Lamar Jackson as accurate as he has ever been throwing the football,  and Big Ben playing like he didn’t miss a beat from his injury, a 62.6 completion percentage won’t be enough to win the AFC North. Only time will tell, though.
