Breaking down the Cleveland Browns remaining three-quarters of the season

Oftentimes when looking at an NFL season, teams break things down by quarters. For the Cleveland Browns, that means their first quarter of the season was a massive success as they own a record of 3-1 in those four contests.

Things didn’t start out so hot for them as they were embarrassed in Week 1 by the Baltimore Ravens by a score of 38-6. Immediately, we were reminded of how bad they looked to start out 2019 but this was a different scenario. With there being no offseason programming to install the new system being taught by Kevin Stefanksi, Cleveland was at a disadvantage.

Of course, they made no excused but the Ravens retained their entire staff and the majority of their starters. For that reason, the blowout wasn’t alarming. And they also had a quick turnaround to get the sour taste out of their mouths.

Cleveland was featured on Thursday Night Football as No. 1 overall pick Baker Mayfield battled another No. 1 overall pick in Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals. The Browns won this one by a score of 35-30. They then had 10 days to plan for the Washington Football Team, which led to a 34-20 win.

On a two-game winning streak, they headed into AT&T Stadium in Week 4 with everyone expecting them to lose. Cleveland ignored the talk and took it to the Dallas Cowboys, walking away with a 49-38 win. Now at 3-1, we look ahead to the remaining schedule and predict the games broken down by quarter.
