3 players to watch when Cleveland Browns take on the Steelers

What a difference a year makes for the Cleveland Browns. The organization made changes at the top, added some offensive tackles, and ran it back with predominantly the same roster. The result; 4-1.

Even after getting off to a fast start, it seems the national media is reluctant to give the Browns the credit that they are due. After each win, which stands at four straight by the way, the goalposts get pushed further back.

The first two wins, against the Cincinnati Bengals and Washington Football Team, came against opponents the Browns were favored to beat. In Week 4, the Browns were underdogs and were not expected to be able to keep pace with the Dallas Cowboys explosive offense. Well, the Browns hung 49 points on the Cowboys and beat them by 11. In the aftermath, the Browns were just said to beat up on a terrible Cowboys’ defense.

Rewind to the buildup to Week 5, and the Browns were facing the best defense in the NFL in the Indianapolis Colts. The Browns came out and put up 20 points in the first half and held on for a 31-23 victory. Did the Browns get credit for the win? Not so much, apparently, now the Colts record and defensive status were inflated because of a lack of competition.

This week the Browns face the evil empire when they go into Pittsburgh seeking an elusive victory at Heinz Field. The Browns are going to have their hands full, however; so will the Steelers. In fact, both teams are more evenly matched than either fanbase would like to admit.

It’s 4-1 vs 4-0. Now let us take a look at three Steelers to keep your eye on in this crucial AFC North matchup.
