1. Dak Prescott

If the Dallas Cowboys are dumb enough to let Dak Prescott walk out of their building, the Browns must be all over it. If there is even a whisper that Prescott will not be given a long-term deal, Andrew Berry should even consider getting on the phone with Jerry Jones, convince him to franchise tag Prescott again, and even trade a first rounder for him to prevent him from hitting the open market.

Over the past four years, Prescott has established himself as a perennial top-10 quarterback, and even played like a top-five quarterback in 2019 and at the start of this season before breaking his ankle. Fans of the Browns should know just the ability that Prescott has after he almost single-handedly pulled the Cowboys back from a massive deficit less than three weeks ago; he thrashed the Cleveland defense for 502 yards and four touchdowns on the day.

At just the age of 27, Prescott is not only playing at a high level, but has shown progression each and every year of his career. Even through five years of his career, Prescott has a decade plus left in the tank and would turn this Browns’ roster into an instant Super Bowl contender. It would be foolish for Dallas to let him walk, but it also seems more and more likely by the day.

If Dak becomes available, the Browns should throw the bag at the current Cowboys’ quarterback and not have to worry about the position for over a decade.
