1. DT Quinnen Williams

Just less than two years ago, defensive tackle Quinnen Williams was considered the best player in the 2019 NFL Draft as he landed as the third overall pick with the Jets. Now just in his second season, a season he is producing very well in, there is now a rumor the Jets may be willing to part ways with him for just the cost of a second round pick.

Make no mistake, the Browns would never be able to find a better player (let alone a better defensive tackle) with their second round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. If a second rounder is all the Jets are asking, then Berry must be on the phone this instant to help a group that has little depth heading into the 2021 season.

It will be interesting to see how the Browns handle the contract situation with both Sheldon Richardson and Larry Ogunjobi this offseason. Richardson, while he is playing well, is due over $13 million in 2021; he is set to turn 30 years old, and the Browns may not be willing to pay this price for him. Ogunjobi on the other hand, is entering the last year of his deal, and there is a reason the Browns not only signed a defensive tackle in free agency, but also drafted one early in the 2020 NFL Draft as well.

Williams would still be relatively cheap for the next two seasons for the Browns before his fifth-year option should Cleveland make this deal. A great pass rusher from the interior of the Jets’ defensive line, the Browns should be all over Williams if the Jets are truly making him available.
