Cleveland Browns: 5 potential 2021 NFL Draft replacements for Odell Beckham Jr.
By Cory Kinnan
Terrace Marshall Jr., LSU
There have been a ton of college prospects who have opted out of the 2020 season, but none have led to another player rising to stardom than that of LSU’s Ja’Marr Chase. After Chase opted out, Tigers’ wide receiver Terrace Marshall Jr. has risen to the challenge of taking over as the primary pass catcher for the defending National Champions.
Listed at 6-3 and 200 pounds, Marshall possesses an elite frame for a wide receiver, but he does not lack speed, athleticism, or route running savvy despite his size. He is a fast riser in the 2021 NFL Draft class of receivers, and he may even find his name in the first round by the time April rolls around. The Browns may have to use their top-32 pick on him, but there is a slight chance he may slip to them in the second round.
Thus far, Marshall has already racked up over 500 yards receiving and nine touchdowns for the Tigers on the year. He is well on his way towards winning the Biletnikoff Award for the nation’s best receiver in 2020, and has seem his name and draft stock skyrocket as a result of his domination on the field.
The Browns are becoming LSU north, so what is stopping them from taking another Tiger in the 2021 NFL Draft?
