Cleveland Browns: 5 potential 2021 NFL Draft replacements for Odell Beckham Jr.
By Cory Kinnan
Seth Williams, Auburn
If the Browns are looking for a big bodied, possession receiver in the 2021 NFL Draft, then Auburn’s Seth Williams may just be their guy this upcoming April. Williams will be the cheapest guy on this list, as he will likely come at the cost of a second or third round pick, so if the Browns are looking for a bargain, then he may be their target.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, Williams does not possess other-world athletic ability as Marshall Jr. does at that size, but he is a bully down the field as he looks to wrestle the ball away from defenders in air. Williams is coming off of a season with 830 yards on 59 catches, a year where he found the endzone eight times as well. So far in 2020, Williams has recorded 424 yards and three touchdowns on 24 catches for the Tigers.
Do not expect Williams to be a specimen at the combine by any means, but he is a reliable target with sure hands and big play ability. It is a deep class, so Williams needs to continue to develop to separate himself from the pack, but there are certainly plenty of aspects of his game to like as the 2021 NFL Draft approaches.
