4. Hollywood walks the red carpet

With Odell Beckham out, there’s no denying that the Cleveland Browns will be without a huge playmaker. On the same token, there’s plenty of truth to the notion that Baker Mayfield has performed better without OBJ. This isn’t meant to knock Beckham, but it’s just what has happened. In 2018 without the star wideout, Baker was on fire. On Sunday, he looked like that player again.

Perhaps one of the biggest reasons is the rapport between OBJ and Mayfield simply isn’t there. The two never seem to be on the same page all the time — but that’s not the case with Rashard Higgins.

A breakout star in 2018, Higgins had a career year but was relegated to spot duty when Beckham joined the Browns last year. He finally got a shot on Sunday when OBJ was lost and Higgins made the most of it by hauling in all six of his targets for 110 yards. Higgins also had a huge catch on the game-winning drive that put them in field goal range, but more importantly, allowed them to take the shot to Donovan Peoples-Jones in the end zone.

The one thing Higgins didn’t do in Week 7 was get into the end zone. In this bold prediction, he does exactly that, which leads to his patented ‘red carpet’ walk.
