It won’t be easy, but the Cleveland Browns should win Sunday

Cleveland Browns fans woke up on a Monday morning with a strange feeling. It was a good feeling that the squad was 5-2 and headed into a winnable game before their bye week, but a bad feeling, because you knew the injury to Odell Beckham, was likely serious.

The MRI on Monday confirmed the team suspicions that Beckham tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the 2020 season. After multiple years of injury-plagued seasons, it finally felt like Beckham had his breakaway step back. Although Baker Mayfield and Beckham still appeared out of rhythm, there is no way to replace someone with that much talent.

As the Browns host the 3-3 Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday, they will be without two of their most explosive offensive pieces in Beckham and running back Nick Chubb who could come back after the week 9 bye.  However, they are starting the get healthier on the defensive side of the football which will help.

The Raiders come into the game at 3-3, but they have much more talent than their record shows. Las Vegas has beaten the New Orleans Saints and Kansas City Chiefs are both highly regarded in the NFC. They have also lost by two-plus touchdowns to the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Bottom line is, the Browns better show up to play on Sunday or the Raiders could run them out of the building. A strong offense led by Josh Jacobs and Derek Carr will be all the Browns defense can handle, but hopefully, momentum from Cincinnati will carry over. Here are four reasons why the Browns will get the victory on Sunday at First Energy Stadium.
