The defensive interior for the Browns is going to look very different next season. It’s unlikely that either starter (Sheldon Richardson and Larry Ogunjobi) will return. Jordan Elliott and Andrew Billings are currently the only iDL on the roster who are likely to be on the team a year from now. The Browns clearly value depth at defensive tackle highly, and because of that, they stop a prospect’s slide here.

Christian Barmore dominated in a rotational role last season, generating 26 pressures on 168 pass-rush snaps for a 15.5 percent pressure rate. As a full-time starter in 2020, he’s not been quite as good, but his 11.4 percent pressure rate is still solid. The redshirt sophomore boasts elite size at 6-5 310 pounds and has the potential to be extremely disruptive at the next level.

LB. Notre Dame. 3. player. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. 819. JeremiahOwusu-Koramoah

The Browns desperately need some coverage ability at linebacker, and Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah is one of the best in college football at that. He’s a safety/linebacker hybrid at 6-2 215 pounds, and while he won’t be the tenacious and instinctive MIKE that many fans want, he’d excel in a moneybacker role, essentially functioning as an extra defensive back in Joe Woods’ defense. Cleveland will address LB at some point early on in the draft, and while JOK likely won’t be available here in real life, we don’t really care.

850. Scouting Report. JayceeHorn. 3. player. South Carolina. Pick Analysis. CB

The son of legendary receiver Joe Horn, Jaycee Horn has been fantastic this season. His signature game came against Auburn, where he was tasked with shadowing Seth Williams, the Tigers’ 6-3 X receiver with an insane catch radius and terrific ball skills. Horn was targeted 10 times, giving up two catches for 55 yards, breaking up five passes, and picking off two others.

He’s played his way into the first-round conversation, but here he falls to the third, where the Browns are more than happy to scoop him up.
