Can the Cleveland Browns find value on the Patriots’ roster?

What a world we currently live in where the New England Patriots are now looking like sellers, while the Cleveland Browns look to be active buyers. Just this week, the Patriots have come out and stated that, outside of a handful of players, they are willing to listen on just about any player on their roster.

The Browns, while they have a record of 5-2, have the appearance of a paper castle when looking that their roster and the struggles on the defensive side of the ball. With holes at every level of the defense, general manager Andrew Berry must take a deep look at potential targets on the trade market in order to improve his roster in 2020 and beyond.

Good news for the Browns, the Patriots have been frequent trade partners in the past, with the likes of Jamie Collins and Jason McCourty being shifted both ways. Could the Browns strike a deal with the Patriots once again with the trade deadline nearing? If the Patriots look to offload some talent for future draft assets, could the Browns find value on their roster?

While the Patriots are struggling without Tom Brady under center, they still have valuable and young assets on their roster they may be willing to work out a deal around. Here are three players the Browns could look to target in New England if the two sides look to strike a deal before the trade deadline.
