One player on each NFL team the Cleveland Browns could trade for

With the 2020 NFL trade deadline quickly approaching, teams are on the phone more than ever looking for trade partners. Whether they’re trying to unload players who are overpaid or underperforming, or looking to add a star player to bolster their roster for a deep playoff or Super Bowl run, the options are aplenty. The Cleveland Browns are in prime position to do the latter and improve their roster to help them not only make a playoff run this season, but also improve their roster for future seasons as well.

The Browns already made one trade this season, trading for Jacksonville Jaguars safety Ronnie Harrison for a 2021 fifth-round pick. There are a few more moves they could make to bolster their roster and help improve their standing in a tough AFC playoff race, however. Here is one player from each NFL team that the Cleveland Browns could acquire before the November 3rd trade deadline.

32. Scouting Report. Arizona Cardinals. LB. player. Pick Analysis. LB. HaasonReddick

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Haason Reddick is a prime candidate to be traded prior to the trade deadline on November 3rd. The 2017 first-round pick has never quite seemed to pick up the defense, and even through coaching regime changes, has failed to find a true footing in the NFL to this point.

Reddick was a highly regarded prospect in 2017 coming out of Temple. His inability to learn the defense has hurt him in Arizona, but sometimes all a guy needs is a fresh start. That’s exactly why the Cleveland Browns need to acquire Reddick.

Coming into the 2020 season, the biggest glaring hole in the Browns roster was the linebacker position. They lacked a truly dynamic player at the linebacker position who has the versatility to help stop the run and cover linebackers and crossing receivers in the passing game. Reddick would give them a player who has that ability at a cheap price.

It may take a few weeks for Reddick to get the playbook and his assignments under his belt, but if he can even play a situational role like he currently does for the Arizona Cardinals, it could help improve a Cleveland Browns defense that is desperate for some help along the middle of the unit.
