Three Cleveland Browns will miss Week 8 vs. Las Vegas

So far in 2020, the Cleveland Browns have dealt with a plethora of injuries. And in Week 8 against the Las Vegas Raiders, that will continue. But the good news is, their best player won’t be one of their starters on the sideline.

There was a brief scare earlier this week as Myles Garrett missed practice on both Wednesday and Thursday after injuring his ankle. Thankfully, he was feeling good by the end of the week and participated in their final practice.

With Garrett being set to go, the majority of the starters on defense are ready to play. That is, the ones who are not on the injured reserve — which is where Grant Delpit and Greedy Williams are right now. Williams might be able to return this season but Delpit will not.

Cleveland will be without rookie linebacker Jacob Phillips, who continues to struggle with a knee injury. He is the only Browns defender who was listed as ‘out’ by the team.

On offense, they will be down two starters as Wyatt Teller and Austin Hooper are each listed as out for the game against the Raiders. Of course, they will also be without Odell Beckham, Jr. who tore his ACL last week against the Cincinnati Bengals, but Teller and Hooper are the only two offensive players listed on this report for the Browns.
